In the flue gas desulphurization process of steel, metallurgy, coking, petrochemical, cement, thermal power and other industries, the magnetic levitation blower can provide a large air volume and pressure for the flue gas desulphurization system to prevent industrial waste gas from being directly discharged into the atmosphere and causing pollution. Compared with the traditional blower, the magnetic levitation blower has the advantages of significant energy saving and environmental protection, high speed, long life, high reliability, low noise, equipment miniaturization, low maintenance cost, good adaptability, etc., and has become the preferred blower in the field of industrial flue gas desulfurization.

First, what is the flue gas desulfurization process

The flue gas desulfurization process in the industrial field refers to the process of removing sulfur dioxide in the flue gas produced in the industrial combustion process. Flue gas desulfurization is to reduce the harm of sulfur dioxide to the environment and human health, in order to achieve the purpose of reducing the emission of air pollutants.

Flue gas desulphurization generally adopts wet desulphurization and dry desulphurization. Wet desulfurization is to convert sulfur dioxide into recyclable products such as gypsum or calcium sulfate by contact reaction between flue gas and desulfurizer, such as limestone and gypsum.

So what is the process of wet desulfurization?

First, powdered limestone is mixed with water to make an absorption solution, and it is injected into the absorption tower using a slurry pump. In the absorption tower, the sulfur dioxide in the flue gas reacts with water and calcium carbonate in the absorption liquid to produce calcium sulfite and other substances, and gathers at the bottom of the absorption tower. At this time, it is necessary to inject a large amount of air through the desulfurization blower, so that the oxygen and calcium sulfite in it are forced oxidation reaction under the action of the agitator to form calcium sulfate. At this time, the mixture has become a gypsum slurry, which is discharged through the slurry pump and is dehydrated to make gypsum calcium sulfate crystals, the final byproduct of the flue gas desulfurization process.

Dry desulfurization is by spraying dry desulfurizer in the flue gas, such as activated carbon, calcium oxide, adsorption or chemical reaction, the sulfur dioxide is converted into solid waste discharge. Flue gas desulfurization technology is widely used in industrial fields, especially in coal-fired power plants, steel plants, petrochemical plants and other large industrial facilities. Through effective flue gas desulphurization process, the emission concentration of sulfur dioxide can be reduced, the formation of acid rain can be reduced, and the health of atmospheric environment and ecosystem can be protected.

Second, the application of magnetic levitation blower

Magnetic suspension centrifugal blower is a kind of turbine equipment using magnetic suspension bearing. The main structure includes the direct installation of the blower impeller and the extension of the motor shaft, and the rotor is suspended on the active magnetic bearing controller. Compared with the traditional blower, the maglev centrifugal blower does not need a speederer and coupling, and is directly driven by a high-speed motor, and the speed is adjusted by a frequency converter. This single-stage high-speed centrifugal blower has been redesigned to improve efficiency and reliability.

The operation principle of magnetic levitation blower is mainly through the high-speed rotating impeller to achieve the blast. The impeller rotates at a high speed along with the rotating shaft, driving the air into the air inlet of the volute. Under the direction and pressurization of the volute, the air becomes a gas with a certain flow rate and pressure, and finally blows out from the outlet of the volute. Magnetic levitation centrifugal blower has a simple whole machine structure, the mechanical part has a permanent service life, does not need to use oil lubrication, and maintenance free. Compared with the traditional fan, the average energy saving of more than 40%.

As one of the key equipment in flue gas desulfurization process, magnetic levitation centrifugal blower can improve desulfurization efficiency, save energy and reduce sulfur dioxide emission, which is of great significance to promote environmental protection and energy saving and emission reduction.

Flue gas circulation system: Magnetic suspension blowers can provide enough air flow to draw the flue gas from the desulfurization absorption tower and then re-inject the desulphurized flue gas into the boiler or discharge it into the atmosphere. This can realize the recycling of flue gas and improve the efficiency of energy utilization.

Desulfurization absorber: The magnetic suspension blower can promote the full contact and mixing between the flue gas and the desulfurizer in the desulfurization absorber by providing the appropriate air flow, increasing the reaction efficiency and improving the desulfurization effect.

Flue gas delivery system: The magnetic suspension blower provides air flow during operation to transport the flue gas in the desulfurization absorption tower to the chimney or other emission equipment. And the magnetic levitation blower has a high pressure and flow adjustment range, can adapt to the needs of different flue gas conveying systems.

System control: Maglev blowers are usually equipped with a scientific control system, which can accurately adjust and control the air flow according to actual needs. Ensure the stable and efficient operation of flue gas desulfurization system.
